The Weather Channel Plus was a planned subscription streaming service, originally targeted to launch in fourth quarter of 2021. At its announcement, the service planned to feature fifty news and entertainment channels and a monthly subscription price of $4.99.[1] The service was seen as a reaction to the debut of Fox Weather, a streaming service operated by Fox News.[2] There were no further advertisements or updates for the service after the initial press release.

A landing page for a "Stream TWC" service was launched on April 27th, 2022, offering only a single subscription to The Weather Channel's TV feed for $2.99 per month, and no other references to the planned channel lineup, or The Weather Channel Plus name.
