Template:Silvics/doc

This template creates a citation of the Silvics Manual from the United States Forest Service.

Usage

Parameters

If there is one author:

{{Silvics|volume = 1 (Conifers) or 2 (Hardwoods)|genus = genus name|species = species epithet|first = author's first name|last = author's last name|accessdate = 3 May 2024}}

If there are two:

{{Silvics|volume = 1 (Conifers) or 2 (Hardwoods)|genus = genus name|species = species epithet|first1 = first author's first name|last1 = first author's last name|first2 = second author's first name|last2 = second author's last name|accessdate = 3 May 2024}}

Blank versions:

{{Silvics|volume = |genus = |species = |first = |last = |accessdate = {{{date}}}}}

{{Silvics|volume = |genus = |species = |first1 = |last1 = |first2 = |last2 = |accessdate = {{{date}}}}}

By default, Citation Style 1 is used. Switch to Citation Style 2 using |mode=cs2. Other parameters from Template:citation are also available.
